Database week is our week-long celebration of our free library databases!

Why use databases? Your library card grants you free access to several great databases. Whether you need peer-reviewed articles for a research project or are trying to learn a new skill, these databases have lots to offer.
Library databases are fact-checked, reviewed by editors and/or peers (scholars in the field who certify the information is credible). The search can be specific or broad, depending on your use of search terms, and you won’t run into spam or advertisers in your quest for knowledge! The library offers use of these databases free of charge, so you can access the material without having to pay any fees or offer up personal information.
Not sure where to start? Try our Database Flowchart to find the right database(s) for you! Remember, a librarian can help you learn how to navigate a database. Throughout the week, follow our Facebook and Instagram for spotlights on these databases. Access our databases any time, anywhere at www.rockhillpubliclibrary.com/databases
